Honda Motor Corp. will introduce its long expected low-cost hybrid model at the Auto Show from Paris next month. The Japanese auto maker announced that the car will be launched on the market at the beginning of next year.
Based on the fact that only 10 to 15 hp are required to run your average compact or mid-sized car along a level road at 60-70mph, Poulsen Hybrid have made up a system that helps your gasoline or diesel engine in its run and save you lots of money, turning your car into a plug-in electric vehicle (PHEV).
Mazda is in the process of testing a car that runs on both hydrogen and gasoline (it’s a dual fuel system). They’re allowed to test the car on the public roads from Japan.
The French have also a word to put up in the hybrid cars competition. Now they modified their beloved Peugeot 307 to meet today’s stringent hybrid cars standards.

Katsuaki Watanabe, Toyota’s president, said in a speech held at the Geneva Motor Show that their company will not produce diesel hybrids in the near future, even if the competition does. For example, VW has in plan to produce its Golf Diesel Hybrid. Similar examples are offered by Mercedes Benz and BMW.
