Pennsylvania To Have 66 New Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

San Diego-based 350Green plans to build 66 electric-vehicle charging stations in Pennsylvania, mostly around Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. As the company said, the $2.6 million project announced last week will be finished by the middle of 2012. It is also scaled to accommodate around 33,000 EVs.

100 Electric Car Charging Stations Planned for Massachusetts

The state of Massachusetts will benefit 100 electric vehicle charging stations in the near future, officials announced on Wednesday. Cities and towns interested in installing electric car stations are expected to apply to the program within 60 days. The project has been credited with $200,000 from the state buget.

Finland's Proposed Green Highway To Be The World's First

The "green highway" will link Turku, Finland's southwestern coast with Vaalimaa near the Russian border and will measure almost 130 kilometers. In charge of the project is the town of Loviisa, which is located in the east of Helsinki, the ones who proposed making this road "green".
