Solar Ark from Sanyo: Where to Take Your Kids this Summer

Sanyo has opened a inverted ark shaped facility covered all over with solar panels. In the 315m wide and 37m tall facility there’s a Solar Lab built – it’s a museum of solar energy with hands-on exhibits and unique outdoor light shows. Its purpose is to promote the goal of living in a clean energy society, and its method is to provide a fun experience that imprints the importance of solar on visitors.

It’s located in the geographical center of Japan. You can reach the spot with the high speed train JR Tokaido. So, next time you’re nearby, take a ride!
