Mythbusters used these to build an electric go-kart that tied for speed with a gasoline model. Unfortunately, the only downside is that these batteries swell as they discharge, so they have to be rigidly clamped to resist swelling. That's not a deal-breaker, but it is a requirement: failure to clamp the cells will allow them to swell and burst. These Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are great!
