DIY: Rick’s Cheap Solar Panel Installation Powers His Home

A lot of people want to be green in using energy but they don’t know where to start, or they don’t have enough money/time at their disposal to actually start making something useful.
Here’s this guy, Rick, who installed three solar panels on his house and runs the lights and a TV off them. He didn’t do anything fancy, and I don’t think he spent months/years or thousands of dollars to make his system.
Rick could be an example to all DIY-ers who want to be green, have it in their hearts, but they don’t know what to begin with. Watch the videos – they’re about 5 minutes both.
