Promoted as the first of its kind, the SmartCharge is an intelligent LED light bulb that works in a similar manner as a regular light in the house, even during a power outage. Using proprietary Grid & Switch Sensor technology, SmartCharge can sense a power outage, recognize the on/off position of your light switch, and allow for light control when there is no utility/grid power.

Even when all the power in your house goes out, the SmartCharge will offer a reprieve from the dark, making your lighting situation seem like business as usual.

The installation is quite simple…just replace your existing bulbs with a SmartCharge. That’s it. no extra wiring, no control box, no remote, and no expensive installation required. It is basically plug and play.

The developer puts a battery, control technology, intelligence, CPU, memory, inverter, and a printed circuit board all inside the light bulb assembly to make it smart and efficient.

Within this sophisticated creation, the big selling point is the Grid and Switch tech. Capable of distinguishing between a loss of power due to opening of the line switch and a loss of power resulting from a grid failure when the line switch is either open or close this technology reduces much of the hassle related to power outages by making them as convenient as possible.

They claim the SmartCharge Bulb helps cut electricity usage for lighting up to 90%, saving you money while reducing your impact on the environment.
