Nissan plans to reveal its new electric concept, called Esflow, at the Chicago Auto Show this year. The car will make its world debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show from March.

Having a stylish exterior, the electric vehicle will also carry the engine setup of Nissan’s other electric with a rear-wheel-drive setup.

As company officials said, the new Esflow concept is equipped with two electric motors powered by laminated lithium-ion battery packs (used in the Nissan LEAF, too).

Each motor is designated to its own rear wheel. This is the reason why Esflow is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60mph in around 5 seconds. The autonomy is about 150 miles (240km) on a single charge.

The colors of this Esflow are inspired from glaciers, with highly reflective blue-tinted solidified liquid shapes. Even if this concept will not hit the production line too soon, it could be a great source of inspiration for Nissan’s future sports cars.
