Cut down your electricity cost, change light bulbs once every 40 years and virtually nothing to dispose of. It might sound too good to be true, but Firefly LED in Austin, Texas, state otherwise.
The ranges of “Smart LED” bulbs, produced by the company, have a large heat-sink surrounding the unit, which reduces the temperature of the bulb by moving heat away from the bulb.
This patent-awaiting technology can be dimmed down to just 5%, making the product highly efficient.
Steve Amstel, founder and CEO of Firefly LED, is certain that although the cost of one bulb begins at $35, the investment is highly effective. The company estimates that in a matter of a few months, the customers would already start to notice the benefits.
