India to Invest $37 Bln for 17,000 MW Green Energy Capacity by 2017

India currently relies heavily on coal for its mass consumption of energy. Even though the country’s renewable energy capacity represents 11% of the global installed power capacity, for India it is not enough. Oregon Utilities Setting Target of Reducing CO2 Emissions 10% Below 1990 Levels
