Novacell – The Fast Pocket-Sized Solar Powered Universal Charger

A California based company called SunCore has developed a pocket-sized universal charger powered by solar energy. The new device dubbed Novacell is an external charger that will power mobile devices via a USB connection. It is able to recharge the majority of Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs), iPods, GPS units, digital still and video cameras and other gadgets.

HP Reduces Discarded Batteries by Making Them Last Much Longer

HP has announced a new range of notebook batteries developed by Boston Power, which will be available for 18 existing notebook models developed by the company representing approximately 70 percent of HP’s consumer notebook PC portfolio and will be available with a 3-year warranty.
