Many have tried to build magnetic motors, but it’s difficult, and the difficulty comes from the fact that you somehow have to isolate and beam the magnetic field into only one direction. Here is another experimenter that uses rotating magnets on the stator, that if aligned properly to a certain pattern that he tries to find every time the motor starts.

Pinwheels have been used for many things along history. One of the most interesting uses I’ve ever seen is making a pinwheel act as a free energy generator, powered by gravity.

A guy named Mylow has tried to, and seemingly succeeded to build a magnetic motor whose power was self-sufficient to run it. The invention was not his, but Howard Johnson’s, who, in the 80’s, tried the same experiment and at that time it’s said it was a success. Anyway, nobody seems to have publicly replicated the magnetic motor until Mylow.

Maybe you’ve heard about Steorn and their Orbo. Steorn is an Irish company that has been promising for a few years to accomplish something mankind has been dreaming for thousands of years: some call it perpetuum mobile, others call it overunity, but it is mostly known as “free energy” in lay terms.

On July 30, BlackLight Power announced a commercial license agreement with Maryland-based Akridge Energy. BLP will allow Akridge to use their energy producing process for generating electricity in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Colombia, up to a maximum continuous capacity of 400 MW.

Forget solar power, forget wind, forget any expensive and polluting way of generating energy! Cold fusion is here, people, and it has been scientifically proven to exist at room temperatures, in a simple experimental lab jar.

Every electric motor has a force that opposes the propelling electromagnetic field inside it, called “Back EMF”. Thane Heins succeeded to recover this back-EMF and, instead of letting it cause resistance, he transformed it into useful power. From ancient times, people have been trying to find out the perfect energy producing machine. For that purpose, brilliant minds put themselves to work and researched the most sophisticated mechanical machines ever. Until nowadays, no such machines have broken through the filter of time, and no such wonderful inventors are known to have made the over unity device.

I’ll make it myself from a hard drive plate and a used scotch tape support. Let’s see how much time it works, and if it can be improved.

Though some blogs take it as a surprise, it’s not something new coming from Honda: their vision of a sportscar powered entirely by a hydrogen fuel cell… not surprisingly, the same that’s into their FCX Clarity, released this summer.

As far as I know from 7th grade, hydrogen is the only chemical element that has only one electron spinning around the nucleus. If this truly works (and I don’t see why it shouldn’t), it is the greatest home-produced energy discovery since the wheel has been founded. Lloyd Tanner uses an incredibly simple assembly of two 4×4 inch wood pieces, and an iron wheel spinning in between.

San Jose’s West Coast Green conference from last week had a point of attraction: the world’s first fuel-less car, made by Magnetic Air Car. They even say it will be produced beginning with 2010.

Gang Chen from Cambridge University has done research on making a new solar cell structure, that would rise its efficiency by not reflecting light, but absorbing it through the intrinsic nature of the nanowire material.

Penn State researchers have found a cheaper method of producing hydrogen from water by the same old effect of electrolysis aided by the Sun’s rays. They do not use classic solar cells, because these are expensive, but made a nanotechnology-based solar cell, called photoelectrochemical diode, that is simplistically said on the bottom of the water holding recipe.

As you already know, Earth’s ecosystems are in a closed-loop. Researchers from the University of Birmingham have created a closed loop hydrogen energy eco-system based on two types of bacteria and a twist of fuel cell technology. How did they do that?

I am dealing with true inventions every day. I am also seeing a lot of hoaxes in my daily quest to alternative energy. I have learned that energy is not free, perpetual motion machines do not exist, everything is taken from somewhere and put elsewhere. There also is this so-called “free energy”, the zero-point energy, proven mathematically by many scientists. My duty as a green optimistic is to collect everything I see someone has struggled explaining and demonstrating, put it in one place and let the people see and comment.

Do you know this man? I didn’t either. It not news anymore, but I was surprised when I read what Mohammed Bah Abba accomplished to do. He invented a food preserving system (aka “refrigerator”) for the people in Nigeria. Until his invention they had to sell their crops immediately and have their children hawking all day for food instead of going to school.
